GRAND FORKS, N.D. (January 8, 2022) – The Bumper to Bumper IRA Sprints are coming to River Cities Speedway to take on the Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprints July 15-16, 2022 for the Buffalo Wild Wings King of the Wings.
River Cities will also host the World of Outlaws Late Models on July 15th.

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (September 11) - The 15th annual John Seitz memorial at River Cities Speedway came to an end Saturday night with AJ Diemel becoming the first three-time winner of the event. Dave Mass and Diemel led the field to the green to start the 92 lap feature. Diemel took the point at the drop of the green and led through a pair of early cautions. GRAND FORKS, N.D. September 10 - Dave Mass of East Bethel, MN won the 'Go Hard or Go Home' pole dash during the opening night of the John Seitz Memorial for WISSOTA Late Models at River Cities Speedway Friday night.
Chad Mahder led the first eight laps of the 15 lap event. Mass took the point on lap nine to win the pole for Saturday's 92 lap finale. AJ Diemel also got past Mahder late in the race to join Mass on the front row. By Mike Spieker
GRAND FORKS, N.D. September 9 - AJ Diemel, Lucas Rodin, and Parker Anderson were victorious Thursday night at the Prelude to the Johnny at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks. Don Shaw and Dustin Strand shared the front row in the 25 lap NLRA Late Model main event. Shaw led at the start, and remained up front until a caution with five laps remaining. Friday night is BIG MOTOR MANIA!

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Wayne Anderson was one of the biggest supporters of dirt track racing in the upper Midwest. He owned race teams, supported other competing race teams, sponsored events, drivers and race tracks, founded the Northern Outlaw Sprint Association and was a River Cities Speedway partner – just to list a few of his numerous contributions to the sport. This season, River Cities will honor Anderson with a four-race mini sprint car series, dubbed the Wayne Anderson Cup. Friday is First Responders Night at River Cities!

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (May 21, 2021) – There may be a new King of the Bullring at River Cities Speedway. Grand Forks’ Austin Pierce won eight races at the three-tenths mile oval in 2020. The two-time Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA series champion returned to victory lane in convincing fashion on Friday night. Aaron Blacklance and Lance Schill were victorious in WISSOTA action, while Dexter Dvergsten picked up the Lucas Oil POWRi Minn-Kota Lightning Sprint feature. By Mike Spieker
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (May 14, 2021) – Grand Forks’ Dustin Strand pulled double duty on Friday night as River Cities Speedway welcomed the WISSOTA Modifieds for the first time this season. Strand ran both his Modified and Late Model and parked in RydellCars.com Victory Lane in both divisions. GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The WISSOTA A-Mods make their first appearance of the season to the Bullring on Friday night! The NLRA Late Models, Midwest Mods and Street Stocks are also on the card.

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (May 7, 2021) – River Cities Speedway opened their 2021 season on Friday night with 77 cars checked in for action. Lance Schill, Jory Berg and Joe Potter all took the WISSOTA feature wins while Brendan Mullen scored his first NOSA win at the Bullring. GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The 2021 racing season at River Cities Speedway is set to open this Friday with a big night of Premier Racing Series action!
The Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprints and NLRA Late Models will headline the program, supported by the Midwest Modifieds and Street Stocks. NOSA time trials are set for 6:30pm with racing at 7:00pm. River Cities Speedway remembers recently inducted Hall of Famer Danny Roy of Langdon, N.D. who passed away on March 16.
Roy ran a hobby stock and a street stock in the early 1970s, then moved up to a semi-late model. After he got out of the driver's seat and turned his focus to business, he owned a modified driven by Eric Hennager. Hennager competed regularly at West Fargo’s half-mile but put on miles competing all over the region. After Hennager hung up the helmet, Roy got into sponsoring several other drivers. GRAND FORKS, N.D. (November 25, 2020) – The World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series will visit the country’s baddest bullring twice in 2021. The “Greatest Show on Dirt” will make its first stop at River Cities Speedway on Friday, June 4th for the first leg of the Northern Tour.
2020 was the 22nd year of racing at River Cities Speedway and it may have been the most challenging season yet. As we look back on our season, we are truly grateful for the support of so many people.

(September 18, 2020) - A lot was up for grabs during Friday night’s season finale at River Cities Speedway as the Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprint Car and River Cities Speedway Sprint Car titles were on the line, as well as a hefty bounty if a Sprint Car driver could beat Austin Pierce. GRAND FORKS, N.D. (September 12, 2020) - The 14th annual John Seitz Memorial will be one that is talked about for years to come. Fifty WISSOTA Late Models made the trek to the three-tenths mile bullring of River Cities Speedway in hopes of claiming the $9,200 check on Saturday night, but it came down to two previous Seitz Memorial champions in a classic dash to the checkers. In a photo finish with two-time Seitz Memorial champion AJ Diemel, Aaron Turnbull picked up his second consecutive title by a mere 0.138 seconds, equating to a half car length. By Mike Spieker
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (September 11, 2020) - A three-hour rain delay put a damper on the opening night of the 14th annual John Seitz Memorial at River Cities Speedway on Friday night. But it was only temporary. Once the racing action commenced the River Cities faithful in the grandstands who weathered the rain and cool temps were treated to incredible racing on the fast and tacky three-tenths mile bullring. GRAND FORKS, N.D. (September 10, 2020) - The 23rd season for the NLRA Late Models came to a close on Thursday night during the Prelude to the Johnny at River Cities Speedway with a season-high 50 teams checked in. Lance Schill, who made his return to Late Models in 2020, scored his first career NLRA win and his third Late Model win at River Cities Speedway of the season. By Mike Spieker

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (August 28, 2020) – Twenty-one Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprints were led to the green flag by Brendan Mullen and Chris Ranten for the 25-lap main event. After a thrilling battle between the front row starters, Ranten took the lead and checked out from the rest of the field. |
