River Cities Speedway Track Record Broken Many Times in One Night!

You must watch this to believe it... Simply Amazing how many times a "Lap Record" can be broken in 1 night. Now we know why so many racers say this is the best dirt track on the planet.

The official World of Outlaw Sprint Car quickest lap time ever recorded, yes we said ever is here at The Legendary Bullring River Cities Speedway. The quickest time still holds at the time of this article at a lap time of 9.269 seconds and average speed of 116.517 miles per hour on August 21st 2009 by Outlaw driver "Hot Foot" Jason Meyers!

Amazing that the track record was broken so many times in the same night? Does anyone know how many times it was broken that night?

Would be nice too see this again! Doubtful that track will ever be that tacky again though!! It's one of the most talked about race nights ever in Grand Forks, and it will probably never happen again.

Nice, hopefuly permanent addition to the website, remember watching it several times a few years ago when it actually happened and it was posted here. An amazing video and Johnny at the mike tops it off best.
