Foss, Nelson and Olson win Rain Shortened Event at River Cities Speedway

     On a night when we thought the weather was going to win from the start most of the program got in before it started to rain.  The rains came during the Late Model feature which means there will be a double Sprint feature next week.

     In the Street Stocks Jamen Foss captured his first feature win of the season by beating Steffan Snare.  It was a great battle between the two top drivers from last year.  It looks like this year could be great for both drivers again.  Steve Halberg finished third while Jim Geringer and Brandon Heddan rounded out the top five.  Shane Edginton, Jamen Foss and Steffan Snare picked up heat race wins.

     In the Super Stocks Gary Nelson Jr. in his first night out at River Cities Speedway picked up the win by holding off Troy Schill.  Mike McCaughan finished third while Jeff Reed and Jason Sanderson rounded out the top five.  Troy Schill and Jeff Reed picked up heat race wins.

     In the Late Models Troy Olson picked up the feature win by holding off hard charges by Mike Balcaen and Cody Skytland.  Balcaen ended up second while Skytland finished third.  Troy Schill and Dave Tyrchniewicz rounded out the top five.  Mike Balcaen, Brian Strand and Cody Skytland won their heat races.

     In the Sprints Scott McDonald, Chris Shirek and Richard Rogers won their heat races while the feature was rained out and will be ran on May 27th.
