River Cities Speedway rejoins
WISSOTA association for 2008
GRAND FORKS, ND - (WISSOTA
Press Release) River Cities Speedway partners Wayne Anderson,
Darren Evavold, Linus Mack and Donny Mack are pleased to
announce the track is rejoining the WISSOTA Promoters
Association in 2008. "We are happy to have joined the WISSOTA
organization and look forward to great things in the future,"
Anderson said of the partners' decision to rejoin the WISSOTA
association of tracks.
The quarter mile River Cities Speedway, which was a long-time
member of the WISSOTA Promoters Association through 2006, will
sanction AMSOIL Dirt Track Series events under the WISSOTA
banner in the Late Model and Midwest Modified divisions with an
eye toward migrating the existing Street Stock division to
WISSOTA rules in 2009 as well.
River Cities Speedway also runs Outlaw 410 Sprints each Friday
night during the season and hosts several major events for that
premier class during the year. In 2008, the track will host both
the World of Outlaws Sprints and Late Models on separate dates.
River Cities Speedway is the "weekly" home of the drivers of the
NLRA (Northern Late Model Racing Association), and that
dedicated drivers group was instrumental in bringing the track
back to the WISSOTA racing community in 2008.
"Everybody's excited to be back on a program where we only have
to use one brand of tire, and we applaud WISSOTA for going to a
single compound program," said NLRA president Joey Pederson. "As
drivers, we appreciate the positive steps we've seen taken by
the WISSOTA organization in recent years," he added.
River Cities Speedway is the home of fast-paced, action-packed
racing in front of thousands of fans during every event, and the
2008 season promises to be one of the best in speedway history.
WISSOTA president Terry Voeltz commented, "We're thrilled to
have River Cities back as a part of our organization. They run a
top-notch program at River Cities with a great group of drivers,
and they have one of the largest and most enthusiastic groups of
fans anywhere in the region."

SPECIAL EVENTS SCHEDULED |
| RACE SEASON |
RACE FANS:
River Cities Speedway is one of the few tracks in the Midwest
that runs a 410 Outlaw Sprint Car division AND a Super Late
Model division on a weekly basis throughout the racing season.
In fact, River Cities Speedway is the only tack in North Dakota
to do so. The next closest track that runs a 410 Sprint Car
division is Jackson Speedway in Jackson, MN or Huset's Speedway
in Brandon, SD.
That is why our weekly program is referred to as a "Premier
Racing Series". You won't find better dirt track racing anywhere
else! Spend your Friday nights at River Cities Speedway! You
won't be disappointed!
SPONSORS:
River Cities Speedway also prides itself on it's full race
program and marketing exposure to thousands of race fans weekly.
Sponsorship packages allow any business the opportunity to get
your message out the thousands of fans every Friday night during
the season. Billboards across the back-stretch, Front-stretch
signage, Grandstand Signage, Victory Lane sponsorship, Weekly
Race Programs, Division Sponsorship along with announcements
over the PA system of your business and message during the race
night. Some Sponsorship Packages even include a private booth
