GRAND FORKS, ND (July 31) - Although Wade Nygaard has led the Northern Outlaw Sprint Association points standings for the majority of the season, the Grand Forks, ND driver hadn't visited victory lane since May. All that changed for the six-time NOSA champion Friday night at River Cities Speedway, however, as Nygaard drove from 11th to claim his 117th NOSA victory. GRAND FORKS, ND (July 10) - They say the first win of the season is the hardest to get, but once you get the first, the next ones come easier. Although he's ran up front all season long, Austin Pierce is certainly proving that true. It took the defending series champion until early July to pick up his first win of the season (last Saturday at Greenbush Race Park), but Pierce backed it up Friday night at River Cities Speedway by claiming his second consecutive checkered flag. Vasichek grabbed the point over cousins as the field charged into turn one. GRAND FORKS, ND (June 13) - Travis Robertson of Moorhead, MN picked up his fourth career RCS Street Stock win with a late race pass over Ryan Johnson to take the lead. Ryan Flaten parks his 1955 Chevy in RydellCars.com Victory Lane.

GRAND FORKS, ND (May 15) - The Well's Concrete WISSOTA Street Stocks were 17 cars strong for their 15 lap main event. Nick Minske and Ryan Flaten led the field to the green flag, with Flaten jumping out to the early advantage. By lap three, Flaten had established a 15 car length lead over second place, Bryce Reimer. GRAND FORKS, ND (May 1) - The WISSOTA Late Model feature was 16 cars strong and set for 20 laps around the Bullring. Steve Anderson and NLRA Rookie of the Year candidate, Robert Bladow, sat on the front row. Anderson got the jump at the green flag on the low side of the speedway, while Bladow tried to make it work up high on the cushion. GRAND FORKS, ND (May 1) - Ricky Hamel jumped out to the early lead of the 14 car, 18 lap WISSOTA Midwest Modified feature and never looked back. By lap eight, Hamel had nearly a half lap lead over second place Matt Schow. A caution on the next lap, however, put Schow's #2S right on the rear nurf bar of Hamel. GRAND FORKS, ND (April 23) - The Northern Outlaw Sprint Association isn't the only series with young talent entering its ranks. The NLRA Late Models will have 19-year-old Robert Bladow joining the tour this year in search of the 2015 NLRA Rookie of the Year title. Bladow began his racing career in the Pure Stock division, where he picked up a feature win at Norman County Raceway in 2012, and has competed in a WISSOTA Midwest Modified/IMCA Sport Mod for the previous two seasons.
