Tonight's River Cities Speedway Test N Tune will be streamed live on the River Cities Speedway Facebook page. When the race season gets underway, be on the look out for weekly, live pay-per-view streaming from the Bullring on RiverCitiesSpeedway.tv. More details regarding PPV to come. Tonight's Test N Tune will run from 6:30-9:30PM. Schedule Update: World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series event at River Cities Speedway on June 5 has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.
After much deliberation and discussion with local government officials, World of Outlaws officials and the staff of the race tracks, it was determined that putting on an event with a reduced crowd or no crowd was just not feasible. Those who purchased tickets through SLS Promotions online or over the phone, will automatically receive a refund to the credit card/debit card that was used to purchase the tickets. GRAND FORKS, N.D. (November 26, 2019) – The World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series will visit the country’s baddest bullring twice in 2020. The “Greatest Show on Dirt” will make its first stop at River Cities Speedway on Friday, June 5th for the first leg of the Northern Tour. (June 21, 2019) – The spotlight shined on River Cities Speedway on Friday night as Midco Sports Network broadcasted their third live event to racing fans across the upper Midwest on cable TV. Both viewers at home and the River Cities faithful in the stands witnessed a great night of racing that had a first-time winner and a couple of young up-and-comers visit RydellCars.com Victory lane. GRAND FORKS, ND (June 19, 2019) - In 2017, Midco Sports Network put on the first-ever live cable television broadcast from River Cities Speedway (RCS). The reaction from race fans, drivers and sponsors was overwhelming. Last year, they did it again.
In 2019, Midco Sports Network is coming back for more. River Cities Speedway and Midco Sports Network are proud to announce they have teamed up once again to broadcast the June 21st races at the legendary three-tenths mile clay oval. The evening will feature the Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA 410 Sprints, Wells Concrete Street Stocks and NLSA Lightning Sprints. GRAND FORKS, N.D. — June 4, 2019 — The World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series will make their first of two trips to River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks on Friday, June 7. GRAND FORKS, N.D. (May 31, 2019) – The Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprints introduced a new format on Friday, which included time trials that set up heat race line ups. It was the first time the NOSA Sprints had a time trial session since June 2006 when they gave drivers two laps on the clock to prepare them for the upcoming National Sprint Tour event that was coming to River Cities Speedway the following week. GRAND FORKS, N.D. (May 31, 2019) – Cole Schill made the trip up to River Cities Speedway on Friday night and left Grand Forks with his second career win at the Bullring. The Horace, N.D. driver started on the pole of the Performance Auto NLRA Late Model feature and led the opening lap over Ryan Corbett. Fifth-place starter, Shane Edginton, worked his way up to the second spot on lap two and ran a close second to Schill. On the final restart with five laps to go, Schill had a challenge from opening night winner, Joey Pederson. By Mike Spieker
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (May 31, 2019) – Reise Stenberg has been nearly unstoppable as of late in the WISSOTA Midwest Modified ranks. The Argusville, N.D. driver scored the season opener win at River Cities, collected the Jeff Carpenter Memorial win at Jamestown Speedway last Saturday night before picking up another win at Norman County Raceway in Ada, Minn. on Thursday. Stenberg lined up on the pole for the 18-lap Happy Harry’s main event and looked poised to claim another win. Stenberg jumped out to the early lead over Lance Schill. By Mike Spieker
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (May 31, 2019) – Bradon Miller and Chase Boen traded the lead in the early going of the Wells Concrete WISSOTA Street Stock feature. Miller led the opening laps until he got loose in turn four, which allowed Boen to take the point. Boen then slipped up on the freshly farmed, and still somewhat greasy, racing surface. Halvorson pulled alongside of Boen and took the lead on lap three. Boen never went away, however, as he hounded the rear bumper of Halvorson at the midway point. Morris, Minnesota’s Eric Riley made a late-race charge into second and looked to steal the win on the last lap. By Mike Spieker
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (May 17, 2019) – In a wild finish, Bryce Reimer picked up his first career River Cities Speedway Wells Concrete Street Stock feature win. Reimer led all 15 laps, but he had heavy pressure from Bradon Miller in the final laps. Miller searched every inch of the Bullring trying to find a way around Reimer and pulled alongside of Reimer’s No. 03 coming to the white flag. Miller again pulled even with Reimer going into turn three, but the two leaders made contact while going three wide with lapped traffic. Miller was sent spinning into the infield while Reimer came around to take the checkered flag and the win. By Mike Spieker
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (May 17, 2019) – Reise Stenberg of Argusville, N.D. dominated the Happy Harry’s WISSOTA Midwest Modified feature from the pole position. GRAND FORKS, N.D. (May 17, 2019) – For the 13th time in his career, Mark Dobmeier raced to the opening night win at River Cities Speedway. Dobmeier started on the outside of the front row for the 25-lap Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprint Car feature, but things got off to a rocky start on lap one. Dobmeier and polesitter Shane Roemeling made contact in turn two, which turned Roemeling sideways in front of the entire field. The result was a five car pileup on the back straightaway, which included Thomas Kennedy, Chris Ranten, Wade Nygaard, Bob Martin and Roemeling. Only Nygaard was able to resume. |
