River Cities opened the month of June last Friday night with very few cautions and lots of close action, as Jade Hastings and Dustin Strand went back-to-back at the Bullring, winning the NOSA 410 Sprint Car and NLRA Late Model features respectively. Austin Hunter and Greg Jose also picked up their first wins of 2025 at the track in the Midwest Mods and Street Stock divisions. Nick Omdahl and Andy Pake brought the 25-lap Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprint feature to Green. The only two cautions of the race came in the first five laps, but it was all Andy Pake at the beginning of the long green flag run. Pake led from lap five until seven to go when Mark Dobmeier and Jade Hastings caught him in heavy lapped traffic. Dobmeier took the lead with six to go and led the two circuits that followed before Hastings executed a perfect slide job in turns three and four coming to three to go. Hastings roared back around Dobmeier’s outside in turn two the following lap and went on to go back-to-back at the Bullring. Pake was third with Austin Pierce and Nick Omdahl rounding out the top five. The Cirrus Aircraft NLRA feature became the fastest six minutes in sports as their feature went green-to-checkered with Dustin Strand and John Seng up front to start the 25 lapper. Shane Edginton took second at the end of the opening lap and began to hunt down race leader Dustin Strand. The pair reached lap traffic just seven laps into the race and began cycling through the back of the field from there. Edginton led most of the tenth lap with Strand beating him back to the start/finish line to complete the circuit. Edginton took the lead again two laps later and made it stick for one circuit before Strand moved back to his inside to take the top spot back. Edginton kept pace with Strand through the five to go mark when a left rear on his No. 5E went flat, sending him to the infield. From there, it was all Dustin Strand as he also went back-to-back, winning his third Late model feature at the Bullring in four attempts. Joey Pederson, Jason Strand, Tyler Peterson, and Travis Robertson rounded out the top five. Tanner Theis and Memphis Klassen brought the 20-lap Happy Harry’s Midwest Mod main event to green. Theis led the opening lap before a caution on lap two reset the field. Austin Hunter used the top of the track to go from fifth to second on the restart and began to hunt down Theis for the lead. A four-car battle for the third spot ensued behind them as Klassen, Bailey Cousins, Cylen Vargason, and Jory Berg battled for the spot before the final caution on lap six. Hunter again used the top of the track just before the midway point to take the lead from Theis on lap ten. Klassen and Vargason continued to be the best battle on the track late in the race going side-by-side for third as Hunter went on to win the race over Theis, Klassen, Vargason, and Berg. John Halvorson and Seth Klostreich paced the 20-lap Big Al’s Construction Street Stock feature to start the night’s feature action. A pair of cautions caused a delay to the start of the race. However, when the race went green, it was all Seth Klostreich for 17 laps. Klostreich had an eight second lead erased with three to go, setting up one of the closest finishes in speedway history. Greg Jose moved to Klostreich inside in the closing laps, stealing the win by seven one-hundredths of a second at the line on the final lap. Weston Ramsrud, Halvorson, and Josh Barker rounded out the top five. Racing continues Friday night at the Bullring with the second leg of the Wayne Anderson Cup for the NOSA 410 Sprints at the top of the card. Full Results410 Sprints - Winged
