GRAND FORKS, ND (January 11) - It's no secret that 2015 was a banner year for Wade Nygaard. The pilot of the Auto Finance Super Center #9N celebrated his 25th anniversary campaign by picking up his 250th career win at Devils Lake Speedway on May 30th and by season's end, Nygaard scored his eighth NOSA championship.

WEST FARGO, ND (December 1) - Former Sprint Car driver, Don Spieker, passed away Tuesday morning at the age of 63. Spieker was best known for piloting that familiar black #96 Sprint Car around Grand Forks Speedway against the likes of Don Mack, Lou Kennedy Sr., Harry "Horsethief" Johnson, and many other local legends.

GRAND FORKS, ND (September 4) - The 2015 season has presented one of the best and most diverse rookie classes in NOSA history. From 75-year-old Lawrence Veralrud, 16-year-old Brayden Pengilly, and veteran driver, Murray Temple, all graduating from the lightning sprint ranks to Jackson Moffett trading in his WISSOTA Midwest Modified for a winged Sprint Car. GRAND FORKS, ND (April 23) - The Northern Outlaw Sprint Association isn't the only series with young talent entering its ranks. The NLRA Late Models will have 19-year-old Robert Bladow joining the tour this year in search of the 2015 NLRA Rookie of the Year title. Bladow began his racing career in the Pure Stock division, where he picked up a feature win at Norman County Raceway in 2012, and has competed in a WISSOTA Midwest Modified/IMCA Sport Mod for the previous two seasons. Bladow will also be racing weekly at River Cities Speedway and says he looks forward to learning and racing against some of the best Late Model drivers in the upper Midwest.
