GRAND FORKS, N.D. (June 23, 2017) – The Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprint Cars were 26 cars strong for their 25-lap main event. Austin Pierce and Jackson Moffett brought the field to the green with Pierce grabbing the early lead. By Mike Spieker
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (June 23, 2017) – Selkirk, Manitoba’s Bill Mooney picked up the Performance Auto Late Model feature win. After starting outside of the front row, Mooney got by polesitter Troy Schill on lap two to take the lead. Once out front, Mooney pulled away from the rest of the field until he reached lapped traffic. GRAND FORKS, N.D. (June 23, 2017) – Kelsi Pederson, daughter of Late Model driver Joey Pederson, led from green to checkered in the NLSA Lightning Sprint feature. The young lady out of East Grand Forks, Minn. held off veteran driver Dexter Dvergsten in the closing laps in lapped traffic to score her first career win.
Pederson turned the fastest lap of the event at 12.622 seconds, averaging 85.565mph around the high-banked three-tenths mile oval. Dylan Johnson and Tim Estenson battled for the second spot behind Hoff throughout the midpoint of the race. The two traded spots lap after lap as Hoff held a comfortable one-second lead. Johnson cleared Estenson in the closing laps and reeled in Hoff, but was never able to get close enough to mount a serious charge. Hoff scored the win over Johnson, Estenson, Scott Richardson, and Braseth. For just $5 admission, race fans can enjoy the NOSA 410 Sprint Car & NLRA Late Models! The INEX Legends and NLSA Lightning Sprints will also be in action at the bullring. If you can't make it in person, tune in to Midco Sport Network's LIVE television broadcast! Three-time NOSA champion, Chris Shirek, will join Brian Shawn for the first-of-its-kind broadcast! On Saturday, the Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprints will be back in action, along with the IMCA SportMods' first appearance to the three-tenths mile oval. The INEX Legends and NLSA Lightning Sprints will also be competing again on Saturday. Admission for Saturday's event is just $5 as well. Racing starts at 7pm both nights. GRAND FORKS, N.D. – River Cities Speedway hosts the first-ever appearance by Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods at Grand Forks on Saturday, June 24, during the Greater Grand Forks Fair.
The feature pays $300 to win. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded. Gates open at 4:45 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:15 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m. Fair admission of $5 is good for entry into the grandstand. Pit passes are $30. The division returns to River Cities on Friday, Sept. 15 as part of the season-ending show. Admission will be $16 through Ticket Outlet or $19 at the front gate.

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (June 16, 2017) – River Cities Speedway had another packed house on hand as the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series and NLRA Late Models co-headlined the night, presented by Gerdau Metals Recycling. River Cities Speedway has just received word that four-time WISSOTA Late Model national champion, Ricky Weiss, will be competing with the NLRA Late Models Friday night at the bullring.
Weiss has 12 career wins at River Cities Speedway, which puts him seventh on the all-time wins list*, just one win behind Mitch Johnson and Troy Olson. *River Cities Speedway wins list accounts wins from its establishment in 1999 to present. GRAND FORKS, N.D. — June 14, 2017 — Only two drivers finished among the top-five in both World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series events at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, N.D., last year. The first? Donny Schatz, the winningest driver with the series at the track and a perennial favorite at River Cities. The other? Logan Schuchart, who finished third, after leading the first 20 laps of the main event in June. The 24-year-old returned to River Cities in August and followed that up with a fourth-place showing.

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (June 9) – River Cities Speedway put the ‘premier’ in Premier Racing Series Friday night as the bullring hosted NOSA 410 Sprints, Late Models and A-Modifieds. The fan-favorite School Buses were also in action, where Craig Houser picked up the win. By Mike Spieker
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (June 2, 2017) – The Wells Concrete Street Stock feature began with James Meagher grabbing the early lead from the pole position. Meagher paced the field of WISSOTA streeters until lap seven when East Grand Forks’ Nick Minske stole the top spot. By Mike Spieker
