A jam-packed night of action is set to kick off the holiday weekend on Friday night at the Bullring as the Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprints conclude the third annual Wayne Anderson Cup while welcoming the Midwest Power Series for a $3,000-to-win main event. The track's regular WISSOTA classes will also see new track champions crowned as their season-long points battles come to an end. Added to an already busy night of racing, the Western Renegade Non-Wing Sprints will also be on hand.
Edginton Gets First Bullring Victory of the Season
If anything has been learned about World of Outlaws shows at the Bullring over the years it’s that it ain’t over ‘til it’s over. Hanover, Pennsylvania native Logan Schuchart, who himself had a victory stolen late by Kyle Larson in August 2020, got some redemption Friday night, passing Sheldon Haudenschild with a lap-and-a-half remaining to score his second career win in Grand Forks.
Drueke Tops Red River Sprints; Veterans Halvorson and Schill score Wissota wins
The season may be winding down but the action is still in midseason form as three drivers parked their cars in RydellCars.com victory lane for the first time in 2023, including Jade Hastings who won his first Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprint Car Blazin' Challenge Friday night. Nebraska native and IMCA national point leader Tyler Drueke won the Red River Sprint Series main event while veterans Lance Schill and John Halvorson won WISSOTA features in the Midwest Mods and Street Stocks respectively.

It's the 9th annual Buffalo Wild Wings Blazin' Challenge featuring the Northern Outlaw Sprint Association (NOSA). We also have the Superior Customs Red River Sprint Series in town for their 3rd visit of the season!

Strand, Hunter, and Anderson win Wissota Mains
An hour rain delay didn't end the night early at the Bullring on Friday night, as action on the high-banked quarter-mile oval was run through its conclusion headlined by Mike Neau winning the POWRi Minn-Kota Lightning Sprints National event along with Dustin Strand and Austin Hunter making return trips to RydellCars.com victory lane and Kyle Anderson winning his first Street Stock feature of the season.
Tyler Peterson scores second Modified feature victory
River Cities Speedway’s 34th Hall-of-Fame night saw five new members inducted at intermission and three first time winners on the season as Joey Pederson, Matt Schow, and Braden Brauer chalked up their initial wins at the Bullring this season.
Longtime engine builder Ben Adams, Former Hobby Stock and Super Stock champion Rick Kemnitz, former NLRA champion Troy Olson, Track Fire Crew leader Scott Nelson, and former Hobby Stock titlist and Late Model competitor Terry Sannes entered the hall to the delight of a packed main grandstand at intermission.
Mike Greseth wins NLRA feature; Dvergsten and Hron win sprint specials
Five classes were in action last Friday night in another night of close racing at River Cities Speedway with Austin Hunter and Weston Ramsrud adding their names to a long list of Mid-season track champions at the Bullring. Mike Greseth and Dexter Dvergsten remained strong in NLRA and POWRi Minn-Kota Lightning Sprint competition, while Ken Hron scored one for the Iron Rangers over the Western Renegade Non-Wing Sprints.
