GRAND FORKS, N.D. (May 26, 2017) – Austin Pierce led all 25 laps in the Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprint Car feature, claiming his first win of the 2017 season. By Mike Spieker
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (May 26, 2017) – Defending WISSOTA Late Model national champion and River Cities Speedway track champion, Dustin Strand, started on the pole of the Performance Auto Late Model feature and led all 20 laps en route to his first win at the Bullring in 2017. By Mike Spieker
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (May 26, 2017) – Jason Halverson took the lead early on in the Happy Harry’s Midwest Modified feature. Halverson, who drove by Joe Henninger for the lead on lap two of 18, led the final 17 circuits in a caution plagued race. By Mike Spieker

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (May 19, 2017) – A stout field of 27 Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprint Cars were in attendance Friday night at River Cities Speedway. Some of the upper Midwest’s heavy hitters, including Mark Dobmeier who was fresh of a $12,000-plus win at Badlands Motor Speedway, Thomas Kennedy, and Cap Henry all made the haul to Grand Forks to try to tame the bullring. GRAND FORKS, N.D. (May 12, 2017) – The Happy Harry’s Midwest Modified feature got off to a wild start as leader Dean Eggebraaten and Nate Reynolds made contact entering turn three. As a result, Eggebraaten and Reynolds both spun and collected Lance Schill, Jason Halvorson, and Austin Hunter. By Mike Spieker
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (May 5, 2017) – Among the four classes Friday night at River Cities Speedway, Ryan Johnson came from the deepest in the field to park his machine in RydellCars.com Victory Lane. The Karlstad, Minn. driver wheeled his way from the seventh starting position into the top five by lap two. From there Johnson moved into third before getting by Daniel Aberle and Nick Minske to take the lead at the halfway point. Johnson went on to cruise to the win over Ryan Flaten, who started back in 11th. However, Flaten failed to go to post-race tech, which cost him his runner-up finish. GRAND FORKS, N.D. (May 5, 2017) – Ricky Hamel proved once again that he will be a force to be reckoned this season at River Cities Speedway. The perennial Midwest Modified championship contender got 2017 started off on the right foot Friday night as he parked his No. 22 machine in RydellCars.com Victory Lane. Hamel started on the pole and jumped out to the early race lead as Austin Hunter chased him in the second spot. On lap six, Hunter, the defending RCS track champion, took the point, relegating Hamel back to second. Hamel stuck with Hunter, however, and with two circuits remaining, Hamel placed a bid for the lead. The Langdon, N.D. driver was able to drive around Hunter to regain the lead and hold on to take the win. Hunter, Lance Schill, Preston Carr, and Nate Reyonlds rounded out the top five. Schill was the hard charger, advancing from 12th to third. By Mike Spieker
