GRAND FORKS, ND (May 27) - The Premier Racing Series will be back in action at the Bullring Friday night with NOSA Sprint Cars, WISSOTA Late Models, Happy Harry's Midwest Modifieds, and Wells Concrete Street Stocks. Mack topped the 30 car field with a late race pass for the lead over Wade Nygaard. The win was Mack's 29th in NOSA competition and 13th at the Bullring. Ricky Weiss prevails for his 2nd RCS win of 2015.

By Mike Spieker GRAND FORKS, ND (May 22) - A full field of 24 WISSOTA Late Models set the grid for their 20 lap main event. James Sangrait Jr. and Bill Mooney lined up on the front row and led the field to the green flag. Preston Carr claims his first-ever River Cities Speedway win.

GRAND FORKS ND (May 22nd, 2015) - Just confirmed, Pat Doar from New Richmond WI and Dave Smith from Edmonton Alberta will be in attendance tonight and with 1-94 speedway not running late models tonight should be a strong field of late models tonight at The World Famous Legendary Bullring River Cities Speedway. By Mike Spieker GRAND FORKS, ND (May 21) - One week after wet, soggy conditions and less than ideal track conditions, sunny skies and warm temperatures are expected to bring excellent racing conditions to River Cities Speedway. Racing continues this Friday night, May 22nd with WISSOTA sanctioned Street Stocks, Midwest Mods, Late Models and the NOSA Sprint Cars. Ricky Hamel will look to park his #22 in RydellCars.com Victory Lane for the third consecutive time and stay undefeated in Midwest Modified action, while Wade Nygaard looks to rebound after getting upside down during last week's Sprint Car feature. GRAND FORKS, ND (May 15) - Track conditions Friday night at River Cities Speedway were less than ideal, to put it kindly, but a lot of credit needs to be given to the RCS track crew for allowing racing to be held as scheduled after a very damp week. A rough track combined with a River Cities Speedway record number of Sprint Cars for a weekly show resulted in a flip count of five when everything was a said and done. GRAND FORKS, ND (May 15) - The Well's Concrete WISSOTA Street Stocks were 17 cars strong for their 15 lap main event. Nick Minske and Ryan Flaten led the field to the green flag, with Flaten jumping out to the early advantage. By lap three, Flaten had established a 15 car length lead over second place, Bryce Reimer. A caution on lap six, however, erased Flaten's lead and put the pack right on his rear bumper. Joey Pederson steals the Late Model win away from Mike Balcaen in the closing laps.

GRAND FORKS, ND (May 15) - In a field that consisted of the top three Late Model drivers in last year's 2014 WISSOTA national points, it was the local River Cities Speedway talent that led the way around the high-banked 3/10th mile dirt track. Despite all the rain this week, the races are still on for Friday, May 15th!

GRAND FORKS, ND (May 1) - Wade Nygaard picked up his 51st career Northern Outlaw Sprint Association victory Friday night at River Cities Speedway. Nygaard slipped by Mark Dobmeier with five laps remaining when Dobmeier hooked a rut in turn one and bicycled up the track. GRAND FORKS, ND (May 1) - The WISSOTA Late Model feature was 16 cars strong and set for 20 laps around the Bullring. Steve Anderson and NLRA Rookie of the Year candidate, Robert Bladow, sat on the front row. Anderson got the jump at the green flag on the low side of the speedway, while Bladow tried to make it work up high on the cushion. GRAND FORKS, ND (May 1) - Ricky Hamel jumped out to the early lead of the 14 car, 18 lap WISSOTA Midwest Modified feature and never looked back. By lap eight, Hamel had nearly a half lap lead over second place Matt Schow. A caution on the next lap, however, put Schow's #2S right on the rear nurf bar of Hamel. GRAND FORKS, ND (May 1) - Rick Schulz picked up a convincing win in the WISSOTA Street Stock main event during Friday night's season opener. Schulz of Horace, ND led all 15 circuits around the 3/10th mile bullring to park his Sander's Metal Products #4S in RydellCars.com Victory Lane for the fifth time in his career. |
