Great Weather and Great Racing are two things that go together like Cheese on a Cheeseburger with cool beverages with good friends on a summer evening. All of which will be experienced this Friday at The World Famous Legendary Bullring River Cities Speedway. Mid 70's and overcast is the forecast when the green flag drops this Friday at The Bullring. A great time will be had by all that is for sure! This year has started early, very competitive & thrilling leaving everyone wanting more. Last week the WISSOTA NLRA Late Models had a surprise visit from Donny Schatz in his NLRA Late Model and in the heat race Donny had the fastest lap times in the ending laps as you can see by the stats in the image below, but in the last lap with 2 turns to go local NLRA drivers Steve Anderson Jr and Mike Balcaen held 1 and 2 at the finish and Donny Schatz landed 3rd at the line. Although he's ran up front all season long, Austin Pierce is certainly proving that true. GRAND FORKS, ND (April 6) - There are many different ways drivers make their way up the ranks to becoming pilots of the 410 cubic inch winged machines. Perhaps the most unusual path may be going directly from a 4-cylinder Hornet to a fire-breathing, methanol guzzling Outlaw Sprint Car, but that's exactly what Devils Lake, ND driver, Michael Bischoff, is doing in 2015. Ken Crane tops the field of 24 Pure Stocks in their only visit to the Bullring in 2014 By Mike Spieker GRAND FORKS, ND (September 12) - Ken Crane of Mahnomen, MN started inside the fourth row for the 15 lap feature event and fought his way through the field to battle Jerome Berger and Stan Olson for the lead. On lap eight, Crane triumphed and took over the point, but the yellow flag flew on the final lap and put the field right on his rear bumper for the green-white-checkered finish. Berger, who led much of the feature, was forced to retire from the event under the caution after his right rear tire came completely off the car. On the restart, Crane out-raced Olson around the 3/10th mile bullring and parked his green #26 in RydellCars.com Victory Lane. |
