06.26.15 U.S. Legends RecapBy Mike Spieker GRAND FORKS, ND (June 26) - A stout field of 19 U.S. Legends invaded River Cities Speedway for their first appearance at the Bullring of 2015. Larry Medhurst of Williston, Donavin Wiest of Wishek, and Troy Hoff of Flasher all took preliminary heat race wins. Medhurst and Tony Jagoditsh lined up on the front row and led the field across the North Dakota Eye Clinic starting line to the green flag. GRAND FORKS, ND (June 26) - Alex Engelstad was riding a winning streak coming into Friday night's IMCA Modified race. The Beltrami, Minnesota pilot swept the features Wednesday and Thursday night at Norman County Raceway in Ada, MN and proved he was just as fast on the little 3/10th mile bullring. The night didn't go as planned for Zomer as he and another competitor made contact during his heat, which resulted in Zomer flipping wildly off of the turn two banking, destroying his Buffalo Wild Wings #82. By Mike Spieker GRAND FORKS, ND (June 16) - This Friday night the nation's premier dirt track racing touring series invades one of the most action-packed race tracks in the country. What does this result in? How about 24 900+ horsepower engines on a little 3/10 mile bullring, speeds in excess of 100mph, drivers throwing those big right rear tires up on the cushion, just inches away from triumph or tragedy, with only the bravest being deemed the victor. What is it? It's the "Greatest Show on Dirt", the World of Outlaw Sprint Car Series, and they come to River Cities Speedway this Friday night, June 19. Dobmeier prevails for win #108.

With just 10 laps to go, Dobmeier was mired back in fourth behind some heavy lapped traffic. Scott Vasichek tops huge field of Midwest Mods for his third River Cities Speedway win.
