GRAND FORKS, N.D. (March 4, 2018) – River Cities Speedway’s 20th anniversary season is set to be one of its biggest yet. The legendary bullring has a stout 25-race schedule slated for the 2018 season, featuring the country’s premier touring series to the fan favorite weekly classes.
Friday night racing begins at 7pm. Save $3 on Premier Racing Series tickets all year by getting them in advance at these select businesses: Home of Economy, University Station, Gateway Cenex, StaMart, ElRoco Bottle Shop, and Northdale Oil. Current and former members of the military receive a $5 discount by presenting a Military ID at the gate, while students get in for half price with a student ID.

GRAND FORKS, ND (May 15) - The Well's Concrete WISSOTA Street Stocks were 17 cars strong for their 15 lap main event. Nick Minske and Ryan Flaten led the field to the green flag, with Flaten jumping out to the early advantage. By lap three, Flaten had established a 15 car length lead over second place, Bryce Reimer. A caution on lap six, however, erased Flaten's lead and put the pack right on his rear bumper. Joey Pederson steals the Late Model win away from Mike Balcaen in the closing laps.

GRAND FORKS, ND (May 15) - In a field that consisted of the top three Late Model drivers in last year's 2014 WISSOTA national points, it was the local River Cities Speedway talent that led the way around the high-banked 3/10th mile dirt track. Despite all the rain this week, the races are still on for Friday, May 15th!

GRAND FORKS, ND (April 23) - The Northern Outlaw Sprint Association isn't the only series with young talent entering its ranks. The NLRA Late Models will have 19-year-old Robert Bladow joining the tour this year in search of the 2015 NLRA Rookie of the Year title. Bladow began his racing career in the Pure Stock division, where he picked up a feature win at Norman County Raceway in 2012, and has competed in a WISSOTA Midwest Modified/IMCA Sport Mod for the previous two seasons.
