GRAND FORKS, N.D. (July 28, 2017) – Austin Pierce took the lead of the Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprint Car feature on the opening lap as Wade Nygaard filed into second. However, the race was quickly slowed for a spin in turn four.

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (July 28, 2017) – Brandon Fuller and Steffen Snare battled for the lead in the early going of the Performance Auto Late Model feature. Fuller held off Snare until the first caution flew on lap two. On the restart, Tom Corcoran moved into the second spot as Snare and Travis Robertson followed in third and fourth. By Mike Spieker
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (July 28, 2017) – Scott Greer jumped out to the early lead of the Schill Construction Modified feature. On lap three, Ryan Schroeder was battling with Nolan Olmstead for second when Schroeder jumped over the right rear of Olmstead and slid off the track at a high rate of speed. Schroeder was unable to continue the race, while Olmstead restarted in the second position. By Mike Spieker
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (July 28, 2017) – Lance Schill took the Happy Harry’s Midwest Modified feature win after starting back in the 14th position. The race was was red flagged on the opening lap after Jason Halverson flipped end over end off the turn three embankment. Halverson made contact with another car down the back straightaway before his car high-centered at the crown of the track and dug into the surface. Halverson walked away uninjured. On the restart, Jeremy Castro and Preston Carr battled for the lead with Carr eventually taking the top spot. Carr led until lap seven, when he lost the handle on his No. 5C machine and spun in front of the field. A total of six cars were involved, but they all were able to rejoin the field for the restart. From there, Todd Johnson and Jesse Aho fought for the lead as Schill stalked them in third. With three laps to go, Schill drove by Johnson and Aho to take the lead. Once out front, Schill checked out from the field as he cruised to the win. GRAND FORKS, N.D. (July 14, 2017) – The Schill Construction Modifieds made their second appearance at River Cities Speedway with 29 cars in attendance. Just like their main event on June 9th at The Bullring, it came down to Dustin Strand and Ward Imrie. This time the win went to Strand. Imrie took the lead from the pole position to start the 20-lap feature as Lance Schill filed into the second spot. On lap seven, Strand, who started back in sixth, took the runner-up spot from Schill and set his sights on Imrie. As the laps wound down, it looked as though Imrie was poised to defend his from a few weeks prior. “That 10 car was pretty quick tonight,” said Strand of Imrie. “I would have liked to have seen a yellow there at the end to put some heat on him, but I was happy to see those lapped cars. It worked out in our favor.” Strand closed in on Imrie in the final laps before steal the point on the final lap to take the win by 0.185 at the line. GRAND FORKS, N.D. (July 14, 2017) – Jade Hastings claimed his first career win at River Cities Speedway Friday night as he topped a stout field of 26 Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprints. GRAND FORKS, N.D. (July 7, 2017) – Ryan Johnson scored his third RCS win of 2017 in the Wells Concrete Street Stocks. Johnson led all 15 laps around the three-tenths mile oval. Johnson looked to check out from the field in the early going as Dan Aberle followed in second. Nick Minske, Dan McNamee, and Matt Beehler all vie for position in the top five as things got sorted out early on. With five laps to go, a caution gave Aberle a shot at Johnson, but the Karlstad, Minn. driver was able to fend off Aberle in the final stages to take the win. Dan McNamee, Matt Beehler, and Aaron Blacklance rounded out the top five. Johnson now holds a somewhat comfortable 36 point lead over Dan Aberle atop the River Cities Speedway Street Stock point standings. Positions three through five are separated by just seven points as Chase Boen, McNamee, and Beehler round out the top five in points, respectively. By Mike Spieker
