GRAND FORKS, N.D. (April 23, 2018) – On March 19th when Mark found out he would no longer be piloting the Jimco Motorsports machine, questions and rumors immediately circulated on the future of his racing career. Those questions and rumors have been answered! Mark will be hitting the track once again in 2018. Within the past month, Mark has purchased a home south of Grand Forks with a large lot and an adjacent shop. This will allow his family, especially his two boys Jaxson and Ty, the room to play and grow while Mark and his crew will have the shop space needed to work on his race equipment. Mark has now formed Team 13 Racing, under Mark Dobmeier Racing LLC. This newly created entity has entered into a purchase agreement with Blazin’ Racin LLC, owned by Todd and Susan LaHaise for their race equipment, semi and trailer. Buffalo Wild Wings will remain a primary sponsor with the primary B-Dubs colors and logos to be retained. Mark invites everyone to support the LaHaise’s new Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant in Sioux Falls, S.D., as well as their other nine B-Dubs locations in South Dakota, North Dakota and Minnesota. After three months of racing retirement, Dave and Jaime Lunstra of Lunstra Motorsports will be back on-board Dobmeier’s No. 13 machine, which will also be a primary sponsor. The partnership reunites them with the Grand Forks driver after Dobmeier and Lunstra teamed up for eight years between 2006-2014 competing weekly at River Cities Speedway, Knoxville Raceway, and Husets/Badlands Motor Speedway where they have well over 100 wins. Also joining Team 13 Racing will be one of Mark’s long-time sponsors, Dahlstrom Motors Inc. of Oslo, Minn. “I am ecstatic to be starting up this race team with the overwhelming amount of support that has poured out from sponsors, family, friends, and fans. We are working hard on setting up the shop and building cars with our first race tentatively scheduled for May 11th at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks with the Buffalo Wild Wings Northern Outlaw Sprint Association (NOSA)” said Mark. Special, special thanks goes to the Blazin' Racin' Team owners for their dedication to the whole racing community for honoring Bryan Clauson in such an outstanding orchestrated way plus matching funds.
