Wade Nygaard Claims His 246th Sprint Car Feature Win After Blowing Up His Engine And Uses Smaller 360 Engine To Get The Win at The World Famous Legendary Bullring
Wade Nygard, #9 from Grand Forks, ND blew up his 410 Outlaw Engine in the makeup feature and rushed to put in his smaller backup 360 engine in time to race the heats. He was unable to start in his scheduled heat but was able to get the car to the track to start in the back of the last heat race and then took the checkered flag for the win in the Feature. Wade had over a 4 1/2 second lead over the 2nd place challenger Lou Kennedy Jr

Ryan started 9th and finished 3rd. Tyler Peterson Wins By A Margin of only .016 Seconds To Set A New Track Record For Closest Finish Since Electronic Scoring
In 2012 Lanigan, World of Outlaw Late Model driver captured the River Cities Speedway track record and World of Outlaw Late Model Dirt Track WORLD RECORD for the closest finish since electronic scoring with a finish of .024 seconds. The was the record until WISSOTA Midwest Modified driver, Tyler Peterson, #1TPO from Hickson, ND broke that record with a .016 second to take the feature win on 05.23.14. Tyler said it will be a race he will never forget. Tyler has been on a roll with wins this season and continues to be a contender at every track he attends.

Mother Nature finally gave us a beautiful night to enjoy racing at The World Famous Legendary BullRing Friday night. The fans came out in full force to enjoy Premier Racing and Double Sprint Features. Three heats of WISSOTA Street Stocks were in attendance and Mike Anderson #18, from West Fargo took his second Feature Win this season.

05.16.14 The Legendary Bullring River Cities Speedway Season Opener Video Highlights from Mark Sinn - Thanks Mark
Thank you to all the fans and drivers that attended our 2014 Season Opener last night. WDAZ was our first nightly sponsor and we were excited to have them kick off the season. Shawn Horn sponsored an additional $100 dollars to the Street Stock class and was given to the #1M Nick Minske from East Grand Forks. Nick started the A Main Feature eighteenth and finished eighth. Mike Anderson #18, from West Fargo started seventh and worked his way through the field to take the checkered flag for his first Street Stock A Main Feature win at the Bull Ring. Ryan Schroeder #77, from Devils Lake was our Midwest Modified A Main Feature Winner and Joey Pederson #7P, from East Grand Forks was our Late Model A Main Feature Winner. The 410 Outlaw Sprints took the track and after 3 cautions we reached the city curfew and River Cities Speedway announced "DOUBLE OUTLAW SPRINTS" next week May 23rd to give the fans a great night to remember. Race date update: We will have a final decision no later than noon tomorrow.
WE WANT TO GO RACING but due to the cold wet weather the track is hard pressed to dry out. Tomorrow night the forecast is 11 mph wind and temps in the mid 50's to high 40's and with a feel like temp in the upper 30's. Ugg Stay tuned.
