By Mike Spieker GRAND FORKS, ND (July 30) - River Cities Speedway officials just received word that Dusty Zomer and the Blazin' Racin' team based out of Sioux Falls, SD will be making an appearance at the Bullring tomorrow night to compete with the Northern Outlaw Sprint Association. Saturday morning he went to the hospital in Fargo and found out he had severe pancreatitis which had led to his entire abdomen being severely infected. The Doctor admitted him immediately Saturday until Tuesday afternoon. He said he's feeling better ...still not 100 percent ...but he plans to be racing this Friday again! Get well soon Mitch! GRAND FORKS, ND (July 10) - They say the first win of the season is the hardest to get, but once you get the first, the next ones come easier. Although he's ran up front all season long, Austin Pierce is certainly proving that true. It took the defending series champion until early July to pick up his first win of the season (last Saturday at Greenbush Race Park), but Pierce backed it up Friday night at River Cities Speedway by claiming his second consecutive checkered flag. The World of Outlaw Late Models invade River Cities Speedway this Friday, July 10th!
