Austin Pierce continues to dominate at River Cities by picking up his 3rd consecutive win.

GRAND FORKS, ND (July 18) - The night got off to a rocky start for the NOSA Outlaw Sprints as both Wade Nygaard and Mitch Mack took a wild ride off the turn two banking during each of their hot lap sessions. Both drivers were OK and Mack was able to get his car fixed for the feature, but Nygaard called it a night and headed home early.

The beginning of the main event didn't go so smoothly either, as six cars tangled on the front stretch as the race went green. The drivers involved included Tanner Wisk, Mark Dobmeier, Brenden Wilde, Greg Nikitenko, Jade Hastings, and Ty Hanten.

Once the race restarted, it was good, clean racing for duration of the 25 lap feature. Austin Pierce, who originally started eighth, lined up fourth on the restart and got by Chris Shirek, Alex Larson, and Zach Wilde to lead the opening lap. Within just three laps, the driver of the Opp Construction #2A had opened up a sizable lead over second place running Shirek. Pierce held a strong lead until he had to deal with heavy lapped traffic with just four laps remaining. That enabled Shirek to close in on Pierce, but Pierce maneuvered through the slower cars masterfully and held on for his third consecutive RCS win.
