Dale Kraling claims his first-ever River Cities Speedway win.

GRAND FORKS, ND (August 1) - Dale Kraling of Mayville, ND topped the field of 24 in the Happy Harry's WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds Friday night for his first career win at The Bullring.
Last week's winner, Matt Schow, sat on the pole for the 18 lap feature and grabbed the early lead. It looked like Schow was going to make it back-to-back wins until Kraling reeled him in and challenged him for the lead in the closing stages. The two drivers fought hard for the low side of the speedway and swapped the point three times in the final four laps. As they headed for the checkers, Kraling edged out Schow by just over three-tenths of a second to park his Pit Stop Bar & Grill #7 in RydellCars.com Victory Lane for the first time.
"It feels awesome," said Kraling after the race. "I've been wanting this (win) for a few years now. Tonight (the win) was there and I got up on the wheel and I really wanted it and it paid off. I screwed up there with three to go. I pushed up and (Schow) got underneath me and that's where I wanted to be. Then I was committed to the high side, and it stuck."
