Ken Crane tops the field of 24 Pure Stocks in their only visit to the Bullring in 2014

GRAND FORKS, ND (September 12) - Ken Crane of Mahnomen, MN started inside the fourth row for the 15 lap feature event and fought his way through the field to battle Jerome Berger and Stan Olson for the lead. On lap eight, Crane triumphed and took over the point, but the yellow flag flew on the final lap and put the field right on his rear bumper for the green-white-checkered finish. Berger, who led much of the feature, was forced to retire from the event under the caution after his right rear tire came completely off the car. On the restart, Crane out-raced Olson around the 3/10th mile bullring and parked his green #26 in RydellCars.com Victory Lane.
