CHASING HISTORY: Mark Dobmeier Eyes Longest Sprint Car Win Streak at RCS

GRAND FORKS, ND (July 22) - There is a chance to write in a page of the history books tonight at River Cities Speedway. Mark Dobmeier, driver of the Senske & Sons/Polaris #13 Sprint Car, enters the night with six consecutive NOSA victories at the legendary bullring.

That ties his current win streak record in the Sprint Car division, which has stood for the last 10 years after being set in 2006.

If "Dynamite" can get the victory during this evening's Hall of Fame Night, he will not only set the record for the longest Sprint Car winning streak at RCS, but he will also tie Jerry Messner for the overall longest winning streak.

Messner won seven Super Stock races in a row during the 2000 season.
