Cole Haugland Gets First RCS Win Since 2012

​The Happy Harry’s Midwest Modifieds took the track with Preston Carr and Ricky Hamel leading the field of 22 to the green. Hamel took the lead, but the caution flew on lap three as Carr spun while running in the third position. 

On the restart, Jamie Dietzler and Cole Haugland fought hard for the second spot. Haugland took the spot to put Millenium cars one-two in the running order. ​

Haugland took the lead on the lap six restart as Matt Schow challenged Hamel for second. Schow took the position and set his sights on Haugland, but with two laps to go the powerplant in Schow’s #2S expired down the back chute.
​
That moved Hamel back up to second as Haugland took his fourth win at RCS and first since June 8th, 2012.
