By Mike Spieker GRAND FORKS, N.D. September 9 - AJ Diemel, Lucas Rodin, and Parker Anderson were victorious Thursday night at the Prelude to the Johnny at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks. Don Shaw and Dustin Strand shared the front row in the 25 lap NLRA Late Model main event. Shaw led at the start, and remained up front until a caution with five laps remaining. The caution allowed fifth starter AJ Diemel one final shot at the win. Diemel pulled even with Shaw on the restart, making the pass for the win with two laps remaining. Dustin Strand finished third. Mike Greseth finished fifth in the race, and in doing so, scored the NLRA season championship. Greseth won six times with the series in what was also his rookie season. Jory Berg and Preston Carr brought the field to the green in the WISSOTA Midwest Mod feature. Carr led the opening dozen laps before his night came to an early end. Lucas Rodin, who started fifth, took the point from there and went on to win over Rusty Kollman and Aaron Blacklance. Parker Anderson and James Meagher shared the front row to start the WISSOTA Street Stock finale. Anderson and Justin Vogel waged door-to-door war in the closing laps, but it was Anderson who scored the win by .051 seconds over Vogel. Aaron Blacklance finished third.
