GRAND FORKS, ND (April 2) - Jackson Moffett, a 23-year-old driver from Fargo, ND, has competed in the WISSOTA Midwest Modified ranks for the previous two seasons. For the 2015 season, however, he looks to take on a whole new monster; driving the Prairie Brand Seed, Oye Trucking #91M Outlaw Sprint Car with the NOSA Sprint Car Series. Moffett explained his background and aspirations in racing for RiverCitiesSpeedway.com:

Chasin' Dreams
Jackson Moffett

"At the age of seven, my father first tossed around the idea of getting us children into the sport of racing, including my sister. As long as I can remember, my family has been involved in some sort of racing events whether it was attending a race or competing in a race so we decided it was time for us to give it a shot. Our first approach was in the go-kart scene, as there was a local track in Grand Forks, ND and was very competitive. After having many successful seasons in multiple classes, that I had enough and it was time for me to make my move to the big track and pursue my dreams. B-mods seemed like a logical place to start for the simple fact that it was competitive and the cost wasn’t too outrageous, or at first that’s what I thought, and I could race a wide variety of tracks in any given night of the week. After two years of ups and downs, I felt like I was missing something. With hopes and dreams of racing sprint cars after many years of watching great local sprint car drivers such as Kevin Jopp, Todd and Sonny Mack, and Mark Dobmeier, I felt like if I’m going to ever make the jump to sprint cars, it’s now or never. Knowing all well the costs, competitive nature, and time involved in becoming a successful sprint car driver, I can’t resist at least attempting my dream. I don’t want to ever wonder “what if”. We all know there is plenty of money that is needed to operate a successful sprint car team and for me that is the greatest challenge I am facing at this point. Thankfully, I have a very supportive family and a few good friends who have helped me along the way that have got me to where I am today. However, to achieve this dream of racing a sprint car I need more support than just family and friends. This is my dream, and I will do whatever it takes to make my dream of racing for a living, come true."

In order to get rolling with his rookie season on the NOSA tour and make his dream a reality, Moffett needs the help of a couple key sponsors. He's got the hard work and dedication in him to run a successful Sprint Car team, but just needs some funding to make is operation complete. It's Moffett's ultimate goal to become a full-time driver on the World of Outlaw Sprint Car Series tour.
