By Mike Spieker GRAND FORKS, N.D. (May 31, 2019) – Bradon Miller and Chase Boen traded the lead in the early going of the Wells Concrete WISSOTA Street Stock feature. Miller led the opening laps until he got loose in turn four, which allowed Boen to take the point. Boen then slipped up on the freshly farmed, and still somewhat greasy, racing surface. Halvorson pulled alongside of Boen and took the lead on lap three. Boen never went away, however, as he hounded the rear bumper of Halvorson at the midway point. Morris, Minnesota’s Eric Riley made a late-race charge into second and looked to steal the win on the last lap. Off of turn four, heading to the checkers, Riley and Halvorson banged doors amid lapped traffic with Boen still in the mix. Boen and Riley made contact on the front stretch which sent Boen spinning shy of the finish line as Halvorson held of Riley for the win. Boen got his car righted and crossed the line in ninth.
