By Mike Spieker GRAND FORKS, ND (April 6) - There are many different ways drivers make their way up the ranks to becoming pilots of the 410 cubic inch winged machines. Perhaps the most unusual path may be going directly from a 4-cylinder Hornet to a fire-breathing, methanol guzzling Outlaw Sprint Car, but that's exactly what Devils Lake, ND driver, Michael Bischoff, is doing in 2015. ![]() Bischoff has spent the previous two seasons enjoying a bunch of success in Devils Lake Speedway's Hornet class, but he is ready to take on the challenge of running a Sprint Car team. "I've always enjoyed watching the Sprints," said Bischoff. "And I decided I'm at the age to either do it now or not do it all." The rookie driver will run his #B52 full-time on the NOSA Outlaw Sprint Car tour and says his biggest learning curve will be learning how to get the car set up and simply just getting seat time. The full-time college student at Lake Region State College has yet to solidify any sponsors for 2015, but has been able to assemble his team through the hard work and dedication of working two jobs. Catch updates from Bischoff's rookie Sprint Car season first-hand by following Bischoff Racing on Facebook.
