The Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprints were 25 cars strong for their 25-lap Blazin’ Challenge qualifier. Jordan Adams grabbed the lead from the pole position as Cale Mack filed into second. The red flag was quickly displayed as Trevor Mell got upside down in turn three. He was ok.
On the restart, Adams opened up a comfortable lead over Mack as Mark Dobmeier, Wade Nygaard and Thomas Kennedy put on a show for third. With seven laps in the books, the red flag was displayed once again as Nick Ranten got upside down on the front stretch. Ranten clipped the wall exiting turn four before going end-over-end twice along the outside retaining wall. Ranten walked away uninjured.

At the halfway point, Dobmeier made it up to second and challenged Adams for the lead. Dobmeier completed a slide job on Adams in turns three and four among heavy lapped traffic, but Adams powered back by on the outside. Exiting turn two, a lapped car spun in front of the leaders, clipping Dobmeier and sending him spinning over the banking. Adams drove off the banking to avoid contact and hit the water barrels. Both Adams and Dobmeier kept their machines on all fours, but were sent to the tail of the field for the restart.

The restart had Wade Nygaard as the new leader with Austin Pierce and Thomas Kennedy in tow. The leaders ran in that order until Kennedy slid off the banking with 10 laps to go.

Following that restart, Chris Ranten moved up to second over Austin Pierce as Nygaard continued to lead. Cautions continued to plague the second half of the feature, which played into the hands of Dobmeier. Restarting fourth with seven to go, Dobmeier drove into the lead out of turn two after a slide job on Nygaard. Once out front, it appeared as though Dobmeier was destined to stay undefeated at the high-banked three-tenths mile oval in NOSA competition. However, a rare mistake out of the all-time River Cities wins leader sent him off the embankment in turn one to bring out the caution. Nygaard inherited the lead and held off 14th place starter, Austin Pierce, en route to his third consecutive NOSA win.
