RECAP: Dobmeier Claims Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprint Car Win

GRAND FORKS, ND (July 1) - ​​The Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprints were set for their 25 lap feature with a 26 car starting grid.

Mark Dobmeier took the early lead over Cory Mack before entering lapped traffic on lap three. Mack did his best to keep up with Dobmeier’s torrid pace, but Dobmeier quickly opened up a straightway lead. Restarts were the key for Dobmeier all race long beginning with the first double file restart on lap four. Each time the Senske & Sons #13 pulled away several car lengths coming to the green flag. That left the Mack brothers of Cory and Casey to battle for the runner up spot while Bobby Martin, Chris Ranten, Jade Hastings, and Jordan Adams were in a dog fight for positions three through five.

Casey momentarily held the second spot while running the low side of the speedway, but Cory ultimately prevailed as he retook the position as he ran the thick, choppy cushion. The race was momentarily red flagged when Tee Young had an easy tip over in turn four. Tee was okay and was pushed off to restart the race.

​Dobmeier went on to take the win by leading all 25 laps in dominating fashion over Cory Mack, Casey Mack, Ranten, and Adams.
