GRAND FORKS, ND (July 29) - Twenty-three NOSA Outlaw Sprint Cars made up the starting grid for the
25-lap Buffalo Wild Wings main event. Trent Stengl jumped out to the lead over his front row counterpart, Zach Wilde, and built up a fairly comfortable lead. By lap 10, fifth starting Bobby Martin had reeled in Stengl and made the pass for the lead with Casey Mack in tow.
The complexion of the race changed drastically on lap 18 as Martin slid off the banking down the back stretch, while Stengl simultaneously flipped in turn four, triggering the red flag. The end result had Martin restarting at the tail of the field, while Stengl was finished for the evening.
Casey Mack inherited the lead and looked to have the race in hand, but a late race caution gave the hard charging Mark Dobmeier the one chance he needed. On the lap 22 restart, Dobmeier dove to the inside of Mack in turn one and completed a nice slide job to take the point. Once out front, Dobmeier cruised to RydellCars.com Victory Lane and
picked up his eighth consecutive win at the Bullring, which broke Super Stock driver, Jerry Messner's, win streak record that was set in 2000.
