River Cities Speedway Season Opener Preview

Racing Kicks Off Friday Night at River Cities Speedway!

GRAND FORKS, ND (April 29) - There are two types of people putting in long hours in the tractor right now; farmers and the River Cities Speedway track crew. That's because they're getting the Bullring prepped and groomed to kick off  the 2015 season this Friday night.

WISSOTA Street Stocks, WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds, WISSOTA Late Models and NOSA Outlaw Sprint Cars, will all be in action with their fresh paint schemes for the brand new racing season.

A couple drivers to watch for will be Joey Pederson in his #7P Late Model. Pederson has picked up wins on opening night at RCS in three of the last four years. Mark Dobmeier has also figured out the tricky 3/10th mile right at the get go. Dobmeier has visited RydellCars.com Victory Lane in 10 of the last 12 season openers. 

The weather looks to be absolutely gorgeous with forecasted temperatures in the upper 70's and a 0% chance of rain! 

Hot Laps begin at 6:30 and the Green Flag drops at 7:00pm.
