Rick Schulz Dominates Street Stock Feature for RCS Victory

GRAND FORKS, ND (May 1) - Rick Schulz picked up a convincing win in the WISSOTA Street Stock main event during Friday night's season opener. Schulz of Horace, ND led all 15 circuits around the 3/10th mile bullring to park his Sander's Metal Products #4S in RydellCars.com Victory Lane for the fifth time in his career.

It wasn't a cake walk for Schulz, though, as Jim Geringer followed in his tracks for the entirety of the feature. But when the checkers flew, Schulz crossed the line just under a second ahead of Geringer's Dakota Engines #12. Geringer was followed by Nick Linert, Daniel Aberle, and Travis Robertson, who rounded out the top five of the 16 car field.

The win was Schulz's first at RCS since June 1st, 2012.
