GRAND FORKS, ND (August 6) - The Premier Racing Series continues this Friday night at River Cities Speedway with WISSOTA Street Stocks, Midwest Modifieds, Late Models and NOSA Outlaw Sprint Cars, presented by University Station and Orchard Oil.
Friday will be the final tune up for the local winged warriors of the Northern Outlaw Sprint Association before the World of Outlaw Sprint Car Series invades the Bullring for the final time in 2015 on August 21st. Defending RCS track champion, Austin Pierce, holds a relatively comfortable 36 point lead over last week's victor, Wade Nygaard. A pair of East Grand Forks, MN drivers, Casey Mack and Chris Ranten, are all knotted up in third; 43 points behind Pierce.

Brad Seng opened up a five point margin between himself and Dustin Strand with his fourth win of the season last week. Seng will be searching for win number five and third consecutive tomorrow night in the WISSOTA Late Model division.

With his second place finish to Doug VanMill last week, Jim Geringer reclaimed the Wells Concrete Street Stock point lead. He and young Street Stock phenom, Travis Robertson, are locked in a fantastic point battle with Robertson sitting a mere three points back of Geringer.

The Happy Harry's Bottle Shops Midwest Modified division continues to be dominated by the Millenium Chassis clan. Four Millenium drivers (Austin Hunter, Ricky Hamel, Preston Carr, and Matt Schow) sit in the top five of the point standings. Millenium has also won six of the eight events at RCS thus far this season.

Racing this Friday night kicks off at 7pm. Save $3 on admission by purchasing your ticket at Home of Economy, University Station, Gateway Cenex, StaMart, ElRoco Bottle Shop, or Northdale Oil. Current and former members of the military receive a $5 discount by presenting a Military ID at the gate, while students get in for half price with a Student ID.
