By Mike Spieker GRAND FORKS, ND (July 8) - The fendered version of "The Greatest Show on Dirt", the World of Outlaw Late Models, will rumble into River Cities Speedway for their one and only appearance at the Bullring this Friday night.
Shane Clanton of Zebulon, Georgia leads the WoO Late Models into River Cities Speedway with a commanding lead in the points standings. Clanton leads "The Bluegrass Bandit", Darrell Lanigan, of Union, Kentucky, by 184 markets, while Josh Richards of Shinnston, West Virginia sits just two points behind Lanigan in third. "Chubzilla", Chub Frank, of Bear Lake, Pennsylvanian and "T-Mac" Tim McCreadie of Watertown, New York round out the top five.
Last year's WoOLM event at River Cities Speedway had drivers battling for the lead throughout the duration of the 50 lap A-main. Tim Fuller took the lead from Tim McCreadie on lap 23 in heavy lapped traffic. Fuller then fended off multiple challenges from McCreadie, Brady Smith, Clanton, and Lanigan to claim his second career WoOLM victory at River Cities.
