Schatz Goes All In and Doubles Up at The Legendary Bullring The World of Outlaws drivers take a lot of risks and gambles in a night of racing. Donny Schatz is one of those gamblers. For the Outlaws gambling was a way of life. Now the only gamble drivers face is how well they can set up a car to qualify well. With a nearly perfect track in qualifying time trials. The first car to take the track was the 91k of Kyle Fedyk, one of The Legendary Bullring's weekly "Canadian Invaders" making the trip from Estevan, Saskatchewan. Fedyk sets the qualifying bar at 10.269 at 105 mph for a lap average speed. A little bit later Thompson, ND car (1k) of Chris Shirek turns a lap at 10.094 at 107 mph. but hold the phone... June's winner (4) Cody Darrah breaks into the 9 second club and the only driver to do so this night, at 9.966 108 mph lap average. Schatz came in 3rd quick at 10.035 107 mph. Eldora Kings Royal winner "King" Brad Sweet was second quick on the night. ![]() Northern Late Model Racing Association Late Models were the support class with the unannounced return of last weeks a-main winner (11D) of Pat Doar.
