Joey Pederson holds on for thrilling NLRA Late Model win

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (May 17, 2019) – The Performance Auto NLRA Late Model feature was another classic battle between two of River Cities Speedway’s most decorated drivers. Joey Pederson and Brad Seng put on a show racing for the lead and the win in the closing laps of the 20-lap feature.

GRAND FORKS, ND (April 29) - Mike Balcaen and Joey Pederson paced the stout field of WISSOTA Late Models to the green flag for the 20-lap A-main. Balcaen grabbed the early lead as defending NLRA series champion, Dustin Strand took second from Pederson.

GRAND FORKS, ND (June 19) - Joey Pederson has had the fastest Late Model in the field for the past couple of weeks at River Cities Speedway, but something has always inhibited him from getting the win and parking in RydellCars.com Victory Lane.

Brad Seng Cruises to WISSOTA Late Model Victory at River Cities Speedway

GRAND FORKS, ND (May 1) - The WISSOTA Late Model feature was 16 cars strong and set for 20 laps around the Bullring. Steve Anderson and NLRA Rookie of the Year candidate, Robert Bladow, sat on the front row. Anderson got the jump at the green flag on the low side of the speedway, while Bladow tried to make it work up high on the cushion. The man on the move, however, was the defending RCS track champion, Brad Seng.

GRAND FORKS, ND (September 6) - After the stout 26 car field paid tribute to the late John Seitz with their four wide missing man formation, the drivers cinched down their seat belts and got their elbows up for the 92 lap, $9,200-to-win Late Model feature.

GRAND FORKS, ND (September 6) - Coming into the night Joey Pederson wasn't even locked into the $9,200-to-win Late Model A-main. Pederson lined up on the outside of the front row in B-main #1 and held on to grab the third and final transfer spot into the biggest Wissota Late Model event of the year.

Grand Forks ND | July 5th 2013: Joey Pederson from East Grand Forks MN Lands the Mid Season Championship in the Late Model Division a commanding way! During the track side interview Joey was asked what makes him so much faster this year and he says ever since he bought this new car "It just Works". Joey also did mention that he was not happy with the car and felt it wasn't handling correctly... He was really shocked when we share with him that he was close to 4 tents of a scond faster than any other late model on the track. One must be curious how much faster Joey could be if the car was handling to Joeys satisfaction?

Grand Forks ND June 21st 2013: Joey Pederson of East Grand Forks MN wins the NLRA Late Model Feature Race in front of a huge crowd during the World of Outlaw Sprint Car race at River Cities Speedway. Joey's new car was close to 3 miles per hour faster than the 2nd place car, it was really hooked up on The Legendary Bullring.
